Colin Price won the Swindle with 39 points from Adam Witherington on 37. Colin's 6 improvements - including a birdie 3 on the 8th - moved him into an early lead in the Eclectic.

There were four matches in the Bain Bowl - one of which saw holder Nick Hayward defeated by Scott Browning. In the other matches there were wins for Colin Price, Adam Witherington and Terry Poingdestre over John Copas, Brad Bygrave and Simon Cook respectively.
